On the above date New Scandia Planning Commission held their regular
monthly meeting. Members, Jackson, Ostlund, Nordin, Pratt and Hawkinson
on the Town Board were present.
Planning Commission recommends to the town board to renew the Conditional
Use Permit for Howard Hawkinson, 21710 Oldfield Ave. Scandia, MN for
rental property. Nordin made a motion to accept, Ostlund seconded and
adopted.
Planning Commission recommends to the town board to renew the Conditional
Use Permit for Grant Wheaton, 14670 Scandia Trail, Scandia, MN for
Small Engine Repair. Pratt made a motion to accept, Hawkinson seconded
and adopted.
Planning Commission recommends to the town board to renew the Conditional
Use Permit for Clyde Saari, 22351 St. Croix Trail, Scandia, MN for
an Attorney's Office. Ostlund made a motion to accept, Nordin seconded
and adopted.
Planning Commission recommends to the town board to renew the Conditional
Use Permits to Wayne Schmitt, 20769 Keewattin, Forest Lake, Mn. 55025.
For Naturally Good Market and Sharon's Hair Care. Hawkinson made a motion
to accept, Pratt seconded and adopted.
Planning Commission recommends to the town board to renew the Conditional
Use Permits for Janet Bailey, 29110 Franconia Parkway, Shafer, Mn. 55074.
To operate Crabtrees Schoolhouse Antiques. Pratt made a motion to
accept, Nordin seconded and adopted.
Planning Commission recommends to the town board to renew the Conditional
Use Permit to Kim Bakken, 20588 Quinnell Ave. Scandia, Mn. To operate ,
a Bait Store. Nordin made a motion to accept, Ostlund seconded and
adopted.
Planning Commission recommends to the town board to renew the Conditional
Use Permit to Judy Ellis, 19860 Olinda Trail, Marine, Mn. 55047. For
rental property. Ostlund made a motion to accept, Hawkinson seconded
and adopted.
Planning Commission recommends to the town board to renew the Conditional
Use Permit to Sue Nickelson, 11262 Scandia Trail, Scandia, MN. To operate
Hand and Heart Pratt made a motion to accept, Hawkinson seconded and
adopted.

Planning Commission supports the purchase of Nels Gronquist site of
15 acres adjacent to Scandia Housing.
