New Scandia Town Board meet at 7:00 p.m. The following Board
Members were present: Jackson, Pratt, Ostlund, Hawkinson and
Nordin. The following business was conducted,
Brian Jemelka
Hawkinson made a motion to increase Brian Jemelka salary 32%
plus $210.00 for hospitalization and Mr. Jemelka show proof
of hospitalization coverage. Pratt seconded and adopted.
Corrected: $210.00 per month for hospitalization.
Maxwill Avenue Construction
Pratt made a motion to approve the change order for Maxwill
Avenue which consists of the completion date change to September
28, 1990. Nordin seconded and adopted.
Oren Avenue
Hawkinson made a motion to change the bid opening of Oren
Avenue to August 21, 1990. Nordin seconded and adopted.
Gree Zauner
Planning Commission recommends to the Town Board to grant the
variance to Greg Zauner, 27 East Road, Circle Pines, Mn. 55014.
That part of the NE -14 of NE -141, Section 11, Township 32 North,
Range 20 West. To build a garage closer to the road then the
house. The siding shall match the house. Pratt made a motion
to accept. Reason: Because the type of landscaping this is
the most appropriate site for the garage. Hawkinson seconded
the motion and adopted.
David Sneer
Planning Commission recommends to the Town Board to grant the
variance to David Speer, 608 Turnpike Road, Golden Valley,MN.
55416. That part of Lot A Cedarcliff and part of Gov. Lot 4,
Section 6, Township 32, Range 19. Lot 5 and Lot 4A of Boat
Landing and Lot 6 and Lot 7A. The road has been in existence
for years and serves numerous other properties and is
maintained by a homeowners association. The homeowners have
an excellent record for road maintenance of the road. Pratt
made'a motion. Hawkinson seconded and adopted.
Sherwood Acres
Planning Commission recommends to the Town Board to approve
the final plat of Sherwood Acres for Ellen Farver according
to the development agreement and survey plat. The park fees
have been paid for 2 lots. Ostlund made a motion to accept.
Hawkinson seconded and adopted.
Deed Stamp for Dresel
Hawkinson made a motion to stamp the deed for Bruce Dresel. That
part of the EZ of NE4 of NE -14 of Section 18, Township 32, Range
20 West. Nordin seconded and adopted.
Will Eginton Property
Pratt made a motion to direct David Hebert Township Attorney
to send a letter to Will Eginton and inform Mr. Eginton to
remove pipes, tanks and equipment in the street right—of-away.
Ostlund seconded and adopted.
Hawkinson made a motion to adjourn. Ostlund seconded and adopted.
