Charles Nordin, Kenneth Ostlund
The board reviewed the hospitalization benefits for Brian Jemelka.
Ostlund made a motion to continue the Medical Plan the same
for 1990 and then revert to the $210.00 per month. Motion failed
due to a second.
Pratt made a motion to pay the difference in the amount of $210.00
per month and Mr. Jemelka takes care of the deductible. Nordin
seconded and adopted.
Appointment of Kevin Nickelson as Supervisor
Pratt made a motion to nominate Kevin Nickelson to replace Mr.
Howard Hawkinson Supervisor until the March Annual Meeting.
Nordin seconded and. adopted.
Ostlund made a motion to accept clerks minutes as corrected for
8/21/90 and 9/4/90. Pratt seconded and adopted.
Nordin made a motion to accept treasurers report. Pratt
seconded and adopted.
Fire Chief
Steve Spence Fire Chief presentated quotes for garage doors for
the fire hall. Ostlund made a motion to accept the quote of
$3214.00 from Twin Garage and authorize Steve Spence to have
the doors installed. Nordin seconded and adopted.
Chief of Police
Animal Control was not present to present a contract. Pratt
made a motion not to continue the Animal Control for next
month and that Animal Control and Management present a contact
next month. Nickelson seconded and adopted.
Bracht Pit
Paul Bracht reviewed the bonding for the Bracht Pit. Nordin
made a motion to continue the Mining Permit for Bracht Pit.
Ostlund seconded and adopted.
Will ERinton
Neighbors of Mr. Eginton were present and stated Mr. Eginton
has diverted wager from a stream on to his property and has
i installed a tank on Second Street. Mr. Eginton informed
11 the board he has complied with the letter he received from
the Township Attorney dated August 14, 1990. The town board
will view the situation and see if there is a problem on this
property September 29, 1990.
Township Engineer
Charles Wetzler presentated a change order for Maxwill Ave.
for the amount of $7,990.00 and completion date be changed
to October 12, 1990 due to more tree removal. Ostlund made
a motion to accept the township engineer recommendation and
excute the change order for additional and unforseen work
on Maxwill Avenue. Pratt seconded and adopted.
Wood Chipper and Pole Building Quotes
Quotes were reviewed for wood chippers and Asplundh Tree
Expert Company. No quotes were stated for a pole building.
Ostlund made a motion to take any and all action on a chipper
and pole building. Nordin seconded and adopted.
Insulation and Painting and Door Quotes for Maintenance Garage
Ostlund made a motion to award the bid for insulation to Ideal
Systems. Item B $3,700.00. Item C $4,500.00. To award
R. J. Tetzlaff the bid for installation of overhead garage
door for $1,850.00 and a radio control operator for $565.00
and add 5% on the General Contractor and storm windows made
for exterior windows. Pratt seconded and adopted.
Quote for painting the maintenance garage was $993.00 no action.
Comprehensive Plan Review
The clerk would inform the Planning Commission that the Commission
should review the plan with the committee that has agreed to serve.
140th Town Celebration
Pratt made a motion to allocate funds of $500.00 for the 140th
Town Anniversary. Nickelson seconded and adopted. Pratt made
a motion to authorize the payment of funds up to $1,000.00 with
expectation that most of this will be refunded to the town.
Nordin seconded and adopted.
TVDical Road Section and Drivewav Plan for Townshi
Ostlund made a motion to accept the typical road section and
typical driveway plan as prepared by TKDA original plan dated
September 18, 1990. Nordin seconded and adopted.
Oren Road Construction
Nickelson made a motion to extend the completion date for Oren
Road to October 15, 1990. Pratt seconded and adopted.
Nordin made a motion to pay bills for September and adjourn.
Nickelson seconded and adopted.
