1-8-91 tb,pcJanuary 8, 1991 The regular Planning Commission meeting was held January 8, 1991. The following Town Board Members were present: Russell Jackson, Charles Nordin, Beverly Pratt and Kevin Nickelson. Frank Mastro Proposed Plat The Planning Commission moved to send a notice by certified mail to Frank Mastro to appear at the next meeting or his application would be dismissed. No action was taken by the Town Board. Ernest Hadlich Conditional Use Permit Planning Commission recommends to the Town Board to grant the Conditional Use Permit to Ernest Hadlich, 22155 Peabody Trail North, Scandia, Mn. 55073. Part of the W2 of SW-4 of Section 12, Range 20, Township 32, for- a rental unit in the home. Pratt made a motion to accept the Planning Commission recommendations. Nickelson seconded the motion and motion adopted. Alex Orosz Public Hearin The public hearing for Alex Orosz was tabled until the February meeting. Curtis Lendt Drivewav Request Mike Hermes and Curtis Lendt appeared regarding property lying southerly of the Eko Backen property. Curtis Lendt would like to divide the parcel into two parcels and wanted advice from the Planning Commission as to whether the roadway serving Eko Backen could be used as access to one or more of the lots. He was advised that the driveway could serve as access to one of the lots since the lot otherwise met the zoning requirements and had the necessary road frontage. No action taken by the Town Board. Nickelson Rezoning Application The Planning Commission removed the application from the table and it was dismissed since a new application will be forthcoming including additional property. No action was taken by the Town Board. Jill Christenson Message Therapy Conditional Use Permit Since Jill Christenson had been directed to contact the Town Clerk if she wished to tenew her conditional use permit and no contact was made, the Planning Commission unanimously agreed not to renew the conditional use permit. Pratt made a motion to accept the Planning Commission recommendation. Nordin seconded and adopted. January 8, 1991 Eko Backen Complaint Russell Jackson reported that a complaint was received concerning the alleged failure of the manager of Eko Backen to permit an emergency call to be made for an injured person. The Town Clerk was directed to write a letter to the owner advising him that such a complaint had been received. Hopkins Concept Plan The Town Board considered a concept plan for the Hopkins Subdivision. It was agreed that the roadway parcel would remain titled in Hopkins but would be tied into the property owned by Hopkins to the West. No formal action was taken by the Town Board since a public hearing will be held on this request. Pratt made a motion to adjourn, Nordin seconded the motion and the motion adopted.
