12-1-92 tb,pcDecember 1, 1992 On the above date New Scandia Planning Commission held their regular monthly meeting. The following Town Board Members were present: Russell Jackson, Charles Nordin, Paul Rasmussen, Kevin Nickelson and Duane Thompson. Kenneth Freiberg Variance Planning Commission recommends to the Town Board to grant the variance to Kenneth Freiberg 12636 182nd Street North, Marine, MN 55047. Lot 6 Big Lake View 2nd Addition. To construct a roof over existing deck. Lake setback 100 feet to 42 feet. Lot size 12 acres required to 22,800 square feet existing. This will be no closer to the lake then the present dwelling and the roof line a bit lower than the present roof. This is not enclosing and the deck will only have a roof. Thompson made a motion to accept. Rasmussen seconded and adopted. Nels Gronquist Conditional Use Permit Planning Commission recommends to the Town Board renewal of the Conditional Use Permit for a period of 5 years for a rental unit. Nordin made a motion to accept. Nickelson seconded and adopted. Elim Lutheran Church Conditional Use Permit (PRE-SCHOOL) Planning Commission recommends to the Town Board to renew the Conditional Use Permit for Elim Lutheran Church Pre -School for a period of 5 years. Rasmussen made a motion to accept. Thompson seconded and adopted. Kerry Kellerhuis Minor Subdivision Planning Commission recommends to the Town Board to grant the Minor Subdivision to Kerry Kellerhuis 23011 Manning Trail North, Scandi.a, MN 55073. Part of NW4 of the NE4 of Section 7, Township 32, Range 20 West. As described and presentated on December 1, 1992. Subject to the following conditions: 1. Convey drainage easements around the wetlands to the township. 2. Convey 33 feet from the centerline of 228th Street to the township. 3. Obtain County Highway approval for access permit off of Manning Trail. 4. Access to Parcel A be from 228th Street North. Nordin made a motion to accept. Thompson seconded and adopted. Road Access to Township 40 Acres I4 4 Thompson made a motion that Landmark Surveying mark the easement for the road for township property on Highway 95 and that a dozen steel posts be placed to mark the south side of the property every 50 to 75 feet. Rasmussen seconded and adopted. Nickelson made a motion to replace the no trespassing to no hunting signs on the township 40 acre site. Nordin seconded and adopted. Erich Bogel Parks and Recreation Mr. Bogel had contacted Mr. Jemelka to proceed with grading of a hill on the Lawrance Carlson property for the skating facilities. Mr. Jackson and Mr. Thompson had informed Mr. Jemelka to stop grading as this had not been ordered by the Town Board. The board would meet on December 3, 1992 at 9:00 a.m. to view the site and possible correction of grading. Audit Proposal's for Township Audit Four firms submitted proposal's for audit of township records. These were reviewed and the clerk informed the board of the two most ac-ceptable firms, which were Tautges Redpath & Co. LTD and Eide Helmeke and Company. Thompson made a motion to contract with Eide Helmeke and Company to audit the township records for the next years as per proposaal.
