The following Town Board members were present: Charles Nordin, Duane Thompson, Russell Jackson, Kevin Nickelson and Paul Rasmussen. JOSEPH VRUNO MINOR SUBDIVISION Planning Commission recommends to approve the Minor Subdivision which was presentated August 3, 1993 for Joseph Vruno 23383 Nolan Avenue, Scandia, MN 55073. NE, of SE,, SW, of NE, of SE of NE, of Section 4, SW4 of NW4 of Section 3, Township 32, Range 20. Parcel B to inculde the house and garage. Parcel C shall have the horse barn, outbuilding and a plan for a new home. Paul Rasmussen made a motion to accept. Duane Thompson seconded and adopted. EDWARD MILLHOUSE (COPAS SCHOOL HOUSE) The Planning Commission tabled this issue until they receive more of a detil certificate of the proposed boundary, parking and septic system. Also information on room for a back up septic system and traffice flow and acces to HWY 95. JUDD STREET PUBLISHING (COUNTRY MESSENGER) Planning Commission recommends to the Town Board to approve the Conditional Use Permit for applicant Judd Street Publishing 14929 Old Guslander Trail, Marine, MN 55047 and owner Wayne Schmitt and Scott Kaiser 20769 Keewahtin Avenue, Forest Lake, MN 55025. Lot 5 Scandia Addition. To operate the Country Messenger with renewal in 5 years subject to sewer approval from Al Goodman from Washington County. Duane Thompson made a motion to accept. Russell Jackson seconded and adopted. JOHN MARTINEAU Planning Commission recommends to the Town Board to approve the proposal for a sixty-six foot easement for future access running east and west to accomodate the 25 acres in the rear of the property. No action by the town board and this item -would be on the agenda for the Town Board Meeting August 17, 1993 SCANDIA HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION LAND PRESERVATION HERITAGE PROGRAM Mr. Tim Remus presentated the Land Preservation Heritage Program proposed by the Scandia Homeowners Association. The program is to protect certain undeveloped lands within the township for deferment from special assessments. Paul Rasmussen of the Town Board recommended the committee rethink criteria and Mr. Remus agreed to refine rules and return with further information. LOFTON COURT Paul Rasmussen made a motion t,o. adopt the Resoultion Approving Plans and Specifications and Ordering Advertisement of Bids for Lofton Court. Duane Thompson seconded and adopted. GAS LINE ON PARADE AVENUE NORTHERN NATURAL GAS Russell Jackson made a motion to approve the gas main on Parade Avenue on Parade Avenue proposed by Northern Natural Gas.
