On the above date New Scandia Town Board held their regular
scheduled meeting. The following Board Members were also
present: Chairman, Charles Nordin, Vice Chairman, Duane
Thompson, Edith Hadlich, Kevin Nickelson and Paul Rasmussen.
MR BILL WILSON
Mr Wilson was requesting final plat approval for Klein Pommern
AM See. Mr Wilson was informed the township does not have the
final plat, development agreement and title opinion. Mr Wilson
stated he would have the above items for the December 5, 1995,
Planning Commission meeting.
EMPLOYMENT COMMITTEE
Mr Duane Thompson expressed the need for a Employment Committee,
so employees would not have to be reviewed at a public meeting.
Mr Duane Thompson, Mr Paul Rasmussen and Mr David Hebert would
serve on the committee.
TIF FUNDING AGREEMENT
Mr Duane Thompson reviewed the funding agreement between the
Washington County Housing and Redevelopment Authority and New
Scandia Township. Paul Rasmussen made a motion to approve the
funding agreement to allocate funds and authorize signature by
the Chairman of the Board and the Township Clerk. Edith Hadlich
seconded the motion and motion passed unanimously.
LAND PURCHASE FOR AERATOR ON GOOSE LAKE
Mr Kevin Nickelson presented the aerial photographed overlay with
proposed boundary lines regarding the land purchase from Bruce
Swenson for the aerator location. It was recommended by the Town
Board to continue with the hand purchase and direct Ms Peterson
to contact NSP regarding electric service to the site.
DRUG AND ALCOHOL TESTING POLICY
Mr David Hebert presented a Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy which
must be in place by January 1, 1996. Mr Hebert informed the
Supervisors to review the policy and this item will be on the
agenda for November 21, 1995.

ZONING VIOLATIONS IN THE BONE LAKE AREA
Ms Peterson informed the Supervisors about zoning violations in
the Bone Lake area. Mr David Hebert directed Ms Peterson to
contact Al Goodman, Building Inspector to citation the residents
in violation.
Duane Thompson made a motion to adjourn.
