03-04-96 tb,pcMarch 4, 1996 On the above date, New Scandia Planning Commission held their regular monthly meeting. The following Board Members were present: Chairman, Charles Nordin, Kevin Nickelson and Paul Rasmussen. Absent: Edith Hadlich and Duane Thompson. Bloom Estate Planning Commission recommends to the Town Board to grant the Minor Subdivision for Anita, Paul and Kevin Aasen, 720 North 3rd Street, St Peter, MN 56802, (Bloom Estate). Those parts of Govt Lot 8, Section 5 and of Govt Lot 1, Section 8, Township 32, Range 20 West. The parcels meet minimum requirements of Zoning Ordinance and Shoreland Management Ordinance. Approval is subject to the following conditions: _ 1. Thirty-three feet from the centerline of 228th Street North be dedicated to the township for road purposes. 2. A drainage easement is dedicated around the wetland. Paul Rasmussen made a motion to accept the Planning Commission recommendations. Kevin Nickelson seconded the motion and motion adopted unanimously. Scandia Four/A Minnesota Partnership The recommendation from the Planning Commission was for the above subject was rescheduled to the Town Board Meeting on March 19, 1996, due to the fact the surrounding property owners did not receive the notice prior to the ten (10) day requirement for the hearing. Bruce Swenson Bruce Swenson and LaVayne Dupslaff presented a concept of a cluster housing development. The concept reflects small lots of 2 to 3.1 acres surrounding 10.6 acres of open area on the northern protion of the property. Mr Swenson would keep the 31 acres to the south and put a deed restriction for no further development. Mr Swenson proposed to deed the north shore of Goose Lake to the township for public use. Mr Swenson and Mr Dupslaff would present the concept to the Washington County Plat Commission for review. Meeting adjourned. Z'wl;z� ii Clerk P
