09-03-96 tb,pcSeptember 3, 1996 On the above date New Scandia Planning Commission held their regular monthly meeting. The following Board Members were also present: Chairman, Charles Nordin, Vice Chairman, Duane Thompson, Edith Hadlich, Kevin Nickelson and Paul Rasmussen. Greg Amundson/Minor Subdivision Planning Commission recommends to the Town Board to grant the Minor Subdivision to Greg Amundson, 20800 Quinnell Avenue, Scandia, MN 55073. NW 1/4 of NW 1/4 of Section 19, SW 1/4 of NW 1/4 of Section 19, Township 32, Range 20. On the grounds that the Minor Subdivision meets all minimum requirements of the ordinance, has a suitable building site and soil testing has been approved for the installation of an on -site septic system. Conditions are that the driveway permit is issued from the Minnesota Department of Transportation based on the survey plan dated December 8, 1993. Edith Hadlich made a motion to recommendation. Paul Rasmussen adopted unanimously. Gravel Pit Inspection accept the Planning Commission's seconded the motion and motion Edith Hadlich and Dan Booren submitted a report on the Gravel Pit Inspections. Brachts had repaired 185th Street. They sited very little activity at the Barton Pit. They expressed their concern about the 20 foot hole and the boundary line between McCurdy's and the Dresel Pit. The clerk would notify Kathy Nordine of Washington County Department of Health to view the Dresel Pit and submit a report by October 1, 1996. Paul Rasmussen made a motion that any persons from the Planning Commission could attend the Minnesota Conference Sustainable Development on October 3rd and 4th.
