5-06-97 tb,pcMay 6, 1997 On the above date, New Scandia Planning Commission held their regular monthly meeting. The following Board Members were also present; Chairman, Charles Nordin, Vice Chairman, Paul Rasmussen, Kevin Nickelson, Robert Jensen and Dennis Seefeldt. Roger Olson Planning Commission recommends to the Town Board to grant the Conditional Use Permit to Robert Olson, 19650 Orwell Avenue North, Marine, MN 55047. Lot 5 Block 2, Merrywood 2nd Addition. The Conditional Use Permit shall be for one year on the grounds that the business would qualify as a home occupation. Conditions are no signage is allowed and only the occupants of the house are allowed to work in the business. Findings are no negative impact on the neighborhood. Paul Rasmussen made a motion to accept the Planning Commission recommendation for the Roger Olson Conditional Use Permit. Dennis Seefeldt seconded the motion and motion adopted unanimously. Terry Crabtree -Maple Hills Major Subdivision/Concept Mr. Terry Crabtree presented a concept of a Major Subdivision called Maple Hills. Mr. Crabtree is proposing six lots on 45 acres ranging from 5.5 acres to 8.6 acres. The proposed road would connect with Pomroy to 220th Street in the north to Highway 97. The board informed Mr. Crabteee the township would require a easement for a 90 foot diameter cul-du-sac off of 215th Street. Meeting adjourned. ZNew -res Pe rson Scandi Township Clerk
