Public Hearing was held for the adoption of the Tower Ordinance. There was no public comment and the hearing was tabled until the October 7, 1997. Gravel Pit Report Dennis Seefeldt reported that Dresel had complied with everything in the letter sent to them by the Town Board. The area mined below grade has been filled with good material. The south side of the road has been restored and the north side at the McCurdy property has been seeded. He reported there may be a problem with the distance from a wetland. Mining should be 50 feet but it appears they are mining within 30 feet from the actual water, not the wetland delineation, and they have built a road within two feet of the water. Dresel was requested to have the north property line surveyed, but there are no stakes. Bracht Bros. have patched 185th Street and Barton Pit is very busy making asphalt and removing asphalt.
