7-11-00 tbJuly 11, 2000 The regular meeting of New Scandia Town Board was called to order by Chairman, Dennis Seefeldt. The following Board Members were present: Dennis Seefeldt, Chairman, Paul Rasmussen, Vice Chairman, Michael Hinz, and John Martineau. Kevin Nickelson was absent. Pay Scale for Building Inspector Paul Rasmussen presented the present and proposed method of payment for the Building Inspector. The proposed formula for payment would be under a permit valuation as follows: $1.00 to $2,000.00 80%- of fee and 85% of plan fee $2001.00 to $100,000.00 -70% of fee and 85% of plan fee $100,001.00 to $200,000.00-60% of fee and 85% of plan fee $200,001.00 and over-50% of fee and 85% of plan fee Paul Rasmussen made a motion to approve the proposed fee formula for the Building Inspector effective August I through December of 2001. Michael Hinz seconded the motion and motion adopted unanimously. Street Lighting On Ozark Court and Ozark Avenue/Hawkinson Business Park Paul Rasmussen made a motion to approve the quote from Northern States Power in the amount of $3997.94 for the installation of streetlights on Ozark Court and Ozark Avenue at the Hawkinson Business Park. Michael Hinz seconded the motion and motion adopted unanimously. Washington County Community Development Block Grant Cooperation Agreement John Martineau made a motion to approve and sign the Washington County Community Development Block Grant Cooperation Agreement. Michael Hinz seconded the motion and motion adopted unanimously. Connexus Energy Single Phase Line On Mavberry Trail Paul Rasmussen made a motion to approve the single phase electrical distribution line across Mayberry Trail for Connexus Energy. John Martineau seconded the motion and motion adopted unanimously. Food Handling Code Regulations Paul Rasmussen made a motion to sign the letters addressed to organization using the New Scandia Community Senior Center regarding Food Handling Code regulations under the Minnesota Food Code and inspections by Washington County Department of Health. Dennis Seefeldt seconded the motion and motion adopted unanimously.
