On the above date New Scandia Township Planning Commission held their regular monthly
meeting. The following Town Board Members were also present: Dennis Seefeldt, Chairman,
Lisa Crum, Michael Hinz and Nancy Madden.
South Scandia Settlement -Final Plat Approval
Planning Commission recommends to the Town Board to approve the final plat of South Scandia
Settlement on the grounds that it is a reasonable use of the property. Conditions are 1) all final
County conditions are met, 2) submit a Development Agreement, 3) submit a Letter of Credit, 4)
meet all conditions of engineer's letter of April 16, 2003, 5) cash be paid in lieu of park land, 6)
wetland/drainage easements are dedicated, and 7) screening on east side of Lot 6 have
conservation easement for Township to ensure screening. Findings are the plat meets alltownship
standards for lot size and setbacks.
Nancy Madden made a motion to approve the Planning Commission recommendation for
the Final Plat approval for South Scandia Settlement. Michael Hinz seconded the motion
and motion adopted unanimously.
