PW Staff report - Parks:
Meeting date: September 9th, 2018
➢ Monthly safety checks done on playgrounds
➢ EAB Grant applied for with DNR — Final 14 out of 100
➢ Tennis Courts — Painting, restoration complete, fence re -installed
➢ Mowing — Ballfields 2 times, City Hall 3 times
➢ Lilleskogen — soil added to level holes and match sidewalk - Clover
planted and erosion blanket applied - watering
➢ Monument — Weeded once more and mowed / weed whipped — 4
times
➢ Hay Lake — Mowed 4 times
➢ Part-time personnel done for the year — back to school
➢ Ballfields — dragged as needed
➢ Lighted Field — 4 mowing's
➢ Ugly planting on the West side of the Ice rink removed
➢ Fixed washout at entrance of T -Ball field in preparations for Taco
Daze
➢ Cleared 6' behind the fence on the South Field — brush and
overgrown — more to occur in the winter
➢ Support for the Art Class — moving tables — cleaning warming house
➢ Attended National Night Out
