• He does all the planning for the Scanley Cup. He typically attends an October or
November PRC meeting, has all contact info with the teams
• Event is one day, all day 7am to midnight
• Break for fireworks at 7pm
2. Bolten and Menk do the snow sculpting contest.
• Sign up is day -of the event, a waiver is required.
• Judi Negus has detail info.
• Adam can haul in snow as needed
3. Kubb - Jenna Mertes is main contact, she expressed interest in doing again in 2019. In
2017 event was at the children's T -ball field.

4. Scot at Meisters sets up the beer tent
• Can enhance the food offerings

• Need to establish when they are cleaned up for the next event
8. Gammelgarden / Lynn Morascu did 'kid friendly' art and crafts and sweet snacks at the
community center.
• Need some time to set up after pancake breakfast
• Was late to the game last year, needs to be included in early planning
9. Lutefisk kicking contest, also sponsored by Gammelgarden.
• May have been based on 'opportunity' as there was some 'leftover lutefisk' (F
an oxymoron) available from an earlier community dinner

12. Button contest
• Has been run by PRC, 61" graders do the buttons, city funds the prizes, PRC picks
the winners.
• Establish contact in October, buttons judged in December PRC meeting.
• Contact principal Julie Greiman first. Teachers are Emily Stegmeir and Dominick
Mancini.
• Awards handed out at Vinterfest, same time as snow contest winners
announced.

13. Contact Elim for a chili -cook off / feed
14. Fireworks — a break in the hockey action at approx. 7pm
