Engineer Project Cost Estimates
Per the request from the last Capital Improvement Committee Meeting we have estimated the total
project costs to complete all the other roads that were not presented within the 5 year (2020 -2025)
street CIP but currently rated 5-6 on the PASER Road Rating.
The estimated total project cost is $13,100,000 including contingency.
If the improvements were completed over a:
■ 10 year timeframe (2026 — 2036) — $1,310,000 annually
• 15 year timeframe (2026 — 2041) - $873,333 annually
0 20 year timeframe (2026 — 2046) - $655,000 annually
I know at the meeting we discussed over a 10 year period, but we really would be closer to a 20 year
period as the roads that are currently rated between 5-6 are relatively good roads. The estimate does
include a contingency amount which just so happens to equal the 20 year annually amount, estimates
are considered conservative and included a contingency in the amount of $655,000.
Executing the presented 5 -year plan and additional 20 -year plan, the City, come year 2046 then would
likely have all roads rated 5 or higher which should far exceed roadway average ratings City wide. So if
moving forward with the presented 5 -year plan and above 20 year plan I would say you have an
aggressive Road CIP.
