Considerations
1.Allow Event Centers and Winery / Brewery / Distillery in the same
zoning districts, since the two activities often go together.
2.Add “Cidery” as an additional activity in the Winery / Brewery /
Distillery use category.
3.Remove Agricultural Processing as a use in the code, and instead
identify processing as an allowed activity in the “Agriculture”
definition. Or make both allowed in the same districts.
4.Winery type uses involve agricultural processing, so allow them in the
same districts, or remove Agricultural Processing from the code.
5.Allow 200 square foot signs to advertise Agritourism, Rural Event
Centers, Wineries, and other destination uses that are in Agricultural
Districts.
