Re: Vinterfest 2016
Background:
Vinterfest 2015 was held on February 6 and 7. Chair Jinks shared a proposed milestone
schedule for Vinterfest 2016 at the March 2, 2015 meeting. After discussion and addressed
concerns for the milestone dates, Chair Jinks agreed to revise the proposed milestone timelines
and present at the April 6, 2015 meeting.
Issues:
Should the Parks and Recreation Committee agree to the proposed milestone dates for
Vinterfest 2016?
Proposal Details:
Chair Jinks is providing a written proposal that is included in his Chair’s Report. In addition,
Chair Jinks would like to discuss donation structure, promotional guidelines, and events.
Fiscal Impact:
None.
Options:
1. Approve Chair Jinks proposed milestone dates for Vinterfest 2016.
2. Amend and then approve Chair Jinks proposed milestone dates for Vinterfest 2016.
3. Do not approve Chair Jinks proposed milestone dates for Vinterfest 2016.
Recommendation:
Committee members should consider the proposed milestone dates and agree to any changes.
