6. Staff Report - AE Test ResultsStaff Report To: Wastewater Advisory Committee From: Tim Kieffer, Director of Public Works Date: July 30, 2014 Re: Anderson/Erickson Test Results Background: Over the past two years staff has been monitoring the wells at the Anderson/Erickson drainfield. Another round of testing was completed in May. It should be noted that Washington County no longer requires samples from well B-deep and only requires that it be used as a piezometer. Currently cell A is being dosed. The primary drinking water regulation for nitrate is 10 mg/L. The results from the May 2014 samples did not have any nitrate concentrations above the drinking water regulation. A secondary drinking water regulation for chloride is 250 mg/L. Again, the results were all below the limit. 0 5 10 15 20 25 3/22/2012 10/17/2012 7/16/2013 5/29/2014 mg/L Date Nitrate + Nitrite A-Deep B-Deep C-Deep D-Deep Limit 0 100 200 300 400 500 600 mg/L Date Chloride A-Deep B-Deep C-Deep D-Deep Limit
