Proposed project will disturb fifty (50) cubic yards or more and/or disturbance of 1,000 square feet or more along with clearing trees. This will require a Grading/Land Alteration Permit Application. The following items shall be submitted with the application: a. Erosion & Sediment Control Plan. b. Existing 12 inch corrugated metal culvert shown on the survey currently drains right to the southwest corner of the proposed building. Final plans should include a site plan showing grading/pipe relocation to ensure drainage has been redirected away from the foundation of the proposed structure. c. 205 th Street N is a public street that has existing concrete curb & gutter. Other driveways that connect to 205th Street N consist of driveways that are constructed of material that does not erode. With the proposed building, additional vehicle trips, the final plans should include a design/driveway material that prohibits erosion and eliminates sediment entering the curb line and storm structures downstream. d. Driveway culvert shall be reviewed if necessary to maintain drainage between the existing curb line of 205 th Street N and south property line. e. Drainage. Final grading plan shall be completed to reduce potential of erosion and provide adequate slope around the proposed building. 2. Recommended Owner submit geotechnical soil information within the area of the proposed building for further review to determine if any potential soil correction or reinforcement may be necessary in the event poor soils are encountered. 3. Historic aerial review show the existing gravel driveway was built between 4/2011 and 4/2012. 4. All site work shall be in compliance of the Carnelian Marine St. Croix Watershed District. Sincerely, Ryan J. Goodman, P.E. City Engineer
