• Quinnell Ave Street Improvements —All work has been completed. In the process of
preparing final project closeout documents and obtaining IC-134's & lien waivers from
the Contractor prior to executing final payment.
• Lilleskogen Parking Lot —AII work has been completed. In the process of preparing final
project closeout documents and obtaining IC-134's & lien waivers from the Contractor
prior to executing final payment. Public Works is completing the final grading and
restoration around concrete sidewalk area, work is anticipated to be completed by the
end of the month.
• 2015 Seal Coat Project — All work has been completed. In the process of preparing final
project closeout documents and obtaining IC-134's & lien waivers from the Contractor
prior to executing final payment.
• Ditching project along Pilar has been ongoing. Contract #1 with Scandia Trucking has
been completed. Contract #2 with Peterson Excavation is about 80% completed and
work is anticipated to be completed by end of the month.
• 2016 Street Improvements (2361h Street N, Novak Ave N, 2371h Street N) — Preliminary survey
work has recently been completed which will allow the design to proceed.
• MnDOT— Hwy 97 updates:
➢ Pavement (Micro Seal) —this work has been completed.
➢ Sign Replacements — this work has been completed.
➢ Mumble Strips —this work has been completed.
• Submittal of comments on 2016 Draft City Policies deadline is October 30tn

➢ New Policy recommendations include; Funding for Non -Municipal State Aid City
Streets:

a dedicated and sustainable state fiuiding source for non-hISA city streets in lame and
sulall cities statewide_ euabluig legislation that would allow cities to create street
improvement districts (similar to sidewalk improvement districts already allowed under
Nlitmi. Slat. § 435.44); and the creation of a new fiord within the Local road Iu7proveineut
Program that would provide grants to cities burdened by cost participation requireiuenls
related to tnutL highway and cotuity state -aid prgjects.
• Emerald ash borer spreads to Washington County - Washington County is expected to
be placed under emergency quarantine, aimed at helping prevent emerald ash borer
from spreading outside of a known infested area.
