8.f) Public Works November activity reportNovember Activity Report for 2015
The installation of signage is now completely done. There was a few stragglers that needed
to be completed. Those now are all completed. As I mentioned last month that we were also
able to put up some signs in replace of worn and also vandalized sign within the same area.
The culvert installation at the intersection of Melanie and Meadowbrook has been
completed. The contractors and the Public Works Department worked well together and
did a good job
The well pump at the old fire station(annex) needed to be replaced. It quit working and we
were forced to have the well repaired. The water supply is now restored.
The American flags on the Cities light poles were removed and replaced with the holiday
wreaths.
Trucks and equipment have been prepped and services for the up and coming winter
months.
We did get our first snow fall of the season. The crew was out Monday the 31 st of
November to salt the significant area's such as hills, intersections and curves.
Williams attended sewer school.
We are beginning to work on the Hockey rink. The lines on the dasher boards and the worst
areas that need mending
