COVID-19
-We have had 16 members receive their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. They will be receiving their
second shot the end of January.
-I have been working with staff on continuing our COVID-19 compliance
-We are working on approval for a few COVID-19 plans for outdoor activities at our ice rink.
-We are also working on plans for possibly opening our warming house on a limited format during this
year’s skating season.
Civil unrest
Washington county public safety has been working on plans to be prepared for any possible civil unrest
that may happen during the week of the presidential inaugurations.
Project Updates
-We have placed the order for the new Zoll monitor/defibrillator. The estimated delivery is mid-April.
-I submitted some additional forms for the generator grant we applied for with the state, but have not
received any update on the status yet.
-Door access control & Camera system are in-use. There are still a few items that we are working on
before the project is officially complete.
Personnel
-We are working on starting our recruiting process for 2021. We hope to bring on up to 5 new members
this year.
-We had 1 firefighter that had to quarantine this month due to COVID-19 that they contracted not
related to fire department activity.
Next month we will have a review of fire department activity during 2020.
