Current state
•West side trial, developed in 2019, needs maintenance
•In 2019, 28 volunteers of the Bone Lake Association built the trial, indicative
of the local support for the development park
•Minimal public usage, mostly by nearby residents
•Water control and quality projects have been completed in
collaboration with CLFLWSD

Ideas concepts
This is not a plan, it is in no particular order. It is a simple list of ideas brought forth to date. Details, practical
and phased implementation, funding, dates, etc. all need input, prioritization, and planning.
•Develop east side trail loop
•Similar to 2019 effort, leverage BLA volunteers
•Open both trails in winter to cross country skiing or snowshoeing
•Develop Troll theme, acquire and place in various areas
•Utilize trail space on south side of 238th where north side is unwalkable
•Would need safe crossing / crosswalk signage
•Develop a park entrance Signage
•Use standard city of Scandia signage at park entrance
•Ok to bring your dog, be respectful
•We are PUP friendly (pick up poop)
•Made possible by a grant by ????
•Can you find all the trolls?
•Other educational aspects explained at various points along the trail
