Please send us the information to register and participate in this online meeting.
Since high speed internet is not available in our part of Scandia, a virtual meeting in not a viable
option for the City. The City needs to provide a viable meeting solution.
Our concerns with the meeting agenda item:
1) The Winery has been up and operational for about one year. Why is this request for a
change in zoning and uses only happening now? Shouldn’t this have happened prior to building
permit approval?
2) We do not have any issues with the Winery operations at this location, however we strongly
oppose the “Rural Event Facility” request. We did not purchase and move to our rural property
to be next door to a Rural Event Facility” and the associated nuisance noises. There has already
been loud noise activities / events at that location.
We request the City of Scandia do not approve Rural Event Facility request.
