Note the three areas, DEED, RDOF and the new ‘Scandia Funding’ area also known as ‘St Croix Trl / Quality Trl’. Justin confirmed MidCo will build out 79 HH in what was the original DEED area plus 11 more along Paris Ave N, for a total of 90 HH in 2021. 48 off these are in the RDOF area. The remaining 62 RDOF HH will be built no later than 2022. The St. Croix Trl, Quality Trl will add 64 HH and also be built in 2021. Justin will get the city a contract for this project since it will not involve DEED funding only $85k in direct aid from Scandia. This build looks like it will be able to provide service to both Rustic Roots and Abrahamson’s, possibly requiring they each sign a business level service contact. MidCo is still working on the Oakhill / St. Croix Trail / Parkview and 199th area. This will not be ready until 2022. MidCo is also evaluating other areas for 2022 and will have more for us to consider this summer. MidCo will partner with Scandia on these either though another DEED grant application or direct aid. TBD. Justin also clarified the RDOF process with me and how MidCo worked with DEED to save the grant this year even though there was significant DEED / RDOF overlap.
