Re: 2015 Summer Recreation Programs
The past summer showed a significant decline in registrations for our summer recreation
programs. We offered a total of 12 classes. Of those, seven classes were cancelled due to low
enrollment or no enrollment. The new “Sports, Sports, Sports” program had two sessions
scheduled and both were cancelled with only one registration. Al l four of the “Tennis” sessions
were cancelled with only three registrations.
There were a total of 39 participants in the “Outdoor Explorers” and “Junior Explorers” camps.
I will be meeting with Camp Lakamaga staff in mid -October to discuss 2016 summer recreation
programming.
