Re: Lilleskogen Strategic Action Plan Review
Background:
A draft of the Lilleskogen Park Restoration Strategic Action Plan was presented to the Parks and
Recreation Committee at its August 5, 2013 meeting. The plan identified specific goals, action
steps needed to complete the goals, identified who is involved in completing the goals, when
the goals should be completed, and allowed for the Committee to review the goals and make
changes, if necessary. The Strategic Action Plan was designed as a tool to help Committee
members stay on the same page, guide the process for completing the park improvements and
communicate to the public the plan for completing those improvements. The plan was to be
referenced each time Lilleskogen was on the agenda and was to help guide the Committee in its
voting decisions. The most current version of the Strategic Action Plan is dated May 6, 2014
and is included in the meeting materials. At the July 6, 2015 Parks and Recreation Committee
meeting, the Committee recommended the Veterans Memorial site be located at Lilleskogen.

What updates should be made to the Lilleskogen Strategic Action Plan?

Committee members should review the Lilleskogen Park Restoration Strategic Action Plan and
make any necessary updates.
