BSN Sports Update:
BSN Sports indicated they will compete for Scandia’s business. Staff contacted their sales department and they
are requesting photos of the space to make recommendations. Staff will submit photos for their consideration.
Playground Equipment Catalog Links Email from Staff to all SPPER Committee members as directed in
March 15, 2021 meeting:
The primary source that the PRC (Parks & Recreation Committee) members were searching through for
playground equipment ideas are from Minnesota Wisconsin Playground. They have a link to their virtual catalogs
on their home page, right on top next to their phone number: https://www.mnwiplay.com/
BSN Sports regularly contacts me as the Parks & Rec Coordinator. Their website does not show me specific
playground equipment that we are looking for, but I did see my own childhood favorite of tether ball! I have
contacted them, and I will pass on their input later. They have made it clear that they want to compete for the

Next I did a Google search for “municipal playground equipment” Wow! I went through the first ten pages of
Google suggestions and weeded out the obvious duplicates or not applicable to our situation links. Here are the
