Chair Report
• Pollinator Project — Moved to December agenda
o Janie O'Conner and 4H Club representatives were present to support this item
o Council had many questions about the land use, maintenance, etc.
o Approval was postponed pending amendment of the development agreement (Bruce Swenson was
present and indicated he would sign in approval)
• Vinterfest 2016
o Scanley Cup approved
o Vintage Snowmobile Rally approved
o PRC Events and 209th closure approved
■ We should investigate barriers instead of cones per CC feedback
Old Business
• Vinterfest 2016
o Vinterfishing
■ Permit Application was submitted too late for CC approval in November. The PRC should reaffirm
a late event addition.
o Meisters Mite Hockey
■ This event was run in parallel to Vinterfest last year and was a well -attended complement to the
Scanley Cup
• Event is entirely on Meisters property and covered under their existing CUP
■ The PRC should affirm including this event in the official Vinterfest bill
• Activities will include:
• Youth Hockey Jamboree
• Warming House Beer Garden
• Sledding on Meisters Hill
• Bonfire & S'mores
• Pig Roast BBQ
o Vinterfest Logo
• Two logo options for PRC vote are attached
• B&W examples are shown
• Font examples for event banners are included
o Vinterfest Button Contest
• Vote on button designs
• Options for button donation boxes per Greg
