St. Croix National Scenic Riverway will provide a bulletin board for Log House Landing (see photo). A
header and footer on the board will be created.

This bulletin board will be located approximately 3 feet north of the existing signage. Placement of the
board will allow snow plows to clean the parking area. The Scandia maintenance crew will dig the post
holes for the board. There should be no maintenance involved for the 2-3 year experiment such as
painting the board. If the board is vandalized, it can be removed. Once the experiment time is
completed, a determination will be made to either continue with the board, install a new exhibit base,
or to discontinue the project.
The NPS maintenance crew will deliver the board to the landing or to a storage area for the winter. NPS
will provide the Header and Footer boards and will create signs to be posted on the board along with
the MN DNR rules and regulation sign.
