Re: Vinterfest Button Design Contest Judging
Background:
At the November 2, 2015 Parks and Recreation Committee meeting, Zauner shared a draft
entry form for the Vinterfest button design contest. Zauner suggested the top three entries all
receive a button with their artwork. Zauner presented the entry form to sixth graders at
Scandia Elementary on November 12, 2015. Committee members agreed the first place winner
would receive a Wild sweatshirt donated by Rasmussen. Zauner picked up the entries on
November 25 from Scandia Elementary. Committee members agreed to judge the entries at its
December 7, 2015 meeting.
Issues:
What entry should the Parks and Recreation Committee select as its winning entry? What will
be the second and third place winning entries?
Proposal Details:
Zauner will be bringing the Vinterfest button design contest entries to the meeting.
Recommendation:
Review all entries and make a recommendation which will be the official Vinterfest 2016
winning button design.
