Re: Step Increase, Cammilleri
Background:
Under the City’s Compensation policy, each year on an employee’s anniversary date following a
satisfactory performance review and with approval by the City Council, the employee is eligible to
receive a step increase.
Cammilleri began employment with the City of Scandia on October 1, 2019. The City Council
conducted a performance review of City Administrator Cammilleri during a closed session on
October 19, 2021.
Issue:
Should the City Council approve the step increase for City Administrator Ken Cammilleri?
Proposal Details:
If approved, Cammilleri will receive a step increase pursuant to the adopted wage study schedule for
a FLSA exempt employee, placing him at Grade 19, Step 3 rate of $$45.87/hr. retroactive to his
anniversary date.
Options:
1) Approve the step increase effective October 1, 2021.
2) Do not approve the step increase
Recommendation:
Option 1.
