Re: Additional Seasonal Ice Rink Attendant Staffing
Background:
Last year the warming house was staffed by six seasonal Ice Rink Attendants, coordinated by a Lead
Skating Rink Attendant. Three Ice Rink Attendants were hired and staff was authorized to advertise to
hire additional attendants at the September 2021 regular City Council meeting.
Proposal Details:
Staff recommends hiring Sarah Firkus and Leo Kressin as an additional Ice Rink Attendants at the
authorized rate of $13.50 per hour. Both Firkus and Kressin have been Ice Rink Attendants in the past.
Options:
1) Approve hiring Sarah Firkus and Leo Kressin as Ice Rink Attendants at the authorized $13.50 per
hour.
2) Do not hire additional Ice Rink Attendants.
