BACKGROUND
This memo is meant to serve as a summary of actions taken by the City Council on items reviewed by the
Planning Commission. Planning and Zoning requests (such as variances, code amendments, etc.) start
with review and recommendations made by the Planning Commission, and then are approved or denied
by the City Council.
RECENT ITEMS
Variances
One request was reviewed by the Council at their November 16th meeting:
Variance request by Chris and Erica Sandstrom for an addition within the side yard setback at
12959 Mayberry Trail North.
o This request was denied by the City Council, as per the findings made and recommended
by the Planning Commission
o The Planning Commission recommended denial of the request at the November 2nd
