Re: Discussion on City Committee and Commission Vacancies
Background:
There are currently two vacant seats on the Wastewater (Sewer) Advisory Committee
The Tourism Committee has requested that the City Council to have the committee served by 7
members rather than its current 5. Currently at least two of the current membership have
challenges being available to attend meetings consistently year-around. So, there have been
issues with quorum that have prevented meetings from taking place. There is also a desire to
have more members to share project responsibilities.
Issue:
Does the Council appoint individuals to fill these vacancies?
