Re: Wojtowicz Skate Park Donation
Background:
As previously discussed, Corey Roberts of Roberts Funeral Service and Scot Taylor of Meister’s Bar and
Grill planned to donate a portion of their proceeds from the Scanley Cup adult hockey tournament to the
Wojtowicz Skating Park. Roberts provided a check in the amount of $750 and Taylor provided a check in
the amount of $241. As with other donations, the Council must formally accept the donations via a
resolution.
Issue:
Should the City accept the donation for the Wojtowicz Skating Park?
Proposal:
The resolution detailing the donation and committed the funds to be used for improvements at the skating
park is included in your packet.
Fiscal Impact:
This year, $991 was raised from the tournament for the skating park.
