Now that you’ve seen the mock-up for your ice sculpture, it’s also important
to start thinking about the ideal place for it to be located. The perfect location
for your ice sculpture is:
A location in the shade or in an area that doesn’t get too much
direct sunlight in the afternoon is ideal. Too much direct sunlight
may damage your sculpture.
A location on level, flat ground is ideal for your sculpture to be
stable and not tippy.
A location with nearby parking for the ease of visitors to your sculpture
and that is easily accessible for installation is perfect.
If you don’t have a location that is out of the direct sun, you may
choose to tent your sculpture. In that instance, you’ll want to make
sure you have the space to fit at least a 10’ x 10’ area.
