Background:
Ordinance 91 provides that the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of the Parks and Recreation
Committee are appointed by the Commission from among the members of the Commission,
subject to approval by the Council, for a term of one year. Furthermore, the bylaws of the Park
and Recreation Committee provide that election of officers will be held at the first meeting of
February of each year.
The Chairperson in 2012 was Alex Bildeaux and the Vice Chair was Mike White.
Issue:
Who should be the chair and vice chair in 2013?
Proposal Details/Options:
The committee can select from the following for chair or vice chair for 2013:
Alex Bildeaux, Matt Rasmussen, Mike White, Greg Zauner or Pam Arnold.

Recommendation:
Motion should be made to make a recommendation on chair and vice chair of the PRC for 2013.
