Re: Summer 2013 Recreation Programs
Agenda Item #: Td)
Last week, I met with Camp Lakamaga to discuss the summer program offerings. We will offer
the same classes as last year, excluding Geocaching-Nature Navigators due to low enrollment.
In addition, this year we will offer a new Water Bonanza class. The staff will guide the students
through the basics and safety of canoeing, kayaking, and swimming, as well as some fishing.
The costs for the classes went up slightly. Camp Lakamaga would continue to receive 80
percent of the registration fees.
We will also continue to offer Skateboarding Camp ' and Tennis Camp. Both camps will be
taught by last year's instructors.
