Please add to the meeting outline the following for tomorrow night, the 12th:
Local Business Update
Scandia Plaza – Met with Stev Stegner, the owner, and have comments regarding future expansion on the Plaza
Rustic Roots Winery – Discussion about MNDot’s requirement for turn lanes on Highway 95 that Greg Sandager
will have to pay for. Do we have any tools to assist them with these costs? Tax Abatement, Bond, etc.?
The Creamery – They are still planning on opening a restaurant once the economy gets better and COVID is no
longer causing gathering problems.
Hood Property (adjacent to the fire hall) – review Greg Sandager’s preliminary development plan. This plan was
dropped due to costs years ago but may be applicable with a new developer in the future.
Can you also have this plan available for viewing?
