The Council agreed to close 209t" from the Community Center driveway to Olinda for
Vinterfest. They wanted to be reminded as it got nearer to the event.
After much discussion, the Council unanimously approved to allow the Promenade/Quiz
to go through Is' Street (North of Brumfeld's Realty) as a one-time deal for the event.
Tim said he could clear out the trail again. One of the concerns was keeping people off
of the drain field.
The Lions Club voted to donate all of the proceeds from Vinterfest to the skating rink.
I talked to County Commissioner Fran Miron and County Public Works Director Don
Theisen about closing Oakhill for Vinterfest. They said it wouldn't be a big deal to get
an event permit to close it like we do for Taco Daze. A phone call to Carol Hanson 651-
430-4313 will get it done. While I was at it, I asked for gravel for Lilly. They couldn't
do it. They were shocked Tiller turned us down. It might be worth trying Tiller again.
