Scott Taylor, Meister's owner took the opportunity at the public forum to
say he was not happy that he wasn't asked to serve food and alcohol. The
local business owners pay taxes all year. He didn't think it was fair to let
someone else do a one time deal on a big event. Tom Triplett stepped up to
say they weren't going to serve alcohol.
The City Council approved the permits for the Scanley Cup Hockey and the
Lions to serve food. It was also brought up that the Lions and Roberts were
donating profits to the skating rink.
The skating lesson event was also approved.
Kristina was hopeful Tiller would step up with gravel for the parking lot.
