Procedure for Park Volunteers
Any date for group park work "event" must approved by the Park & Rec Committee.
The group event shall:
1. Identify the leader/contact person far the event.
2. Have enough qualified supervisory personnel for the event.
3. Present to the SPRC a clear description of what type of work will be performed
when asking the for the event date.
4. Have the approval of The City Counsel for the use of any heavy or power
equipment or poison/herbicides. The group will use the City's current operation
standards for such equipment.
5. Provide for removal of all debris created by the event.
6. Remove only what the SPRC has determined as invasive plants.
SPRC has determined the invasive plants to be: Buckthorn, Prickly Ash, Poison ivy,
Poison Oak, Poison Sumac.
