Background: A copy of last year's flyer is included in your packet as a point of reference. Pleasure Skating: K-6t" Grade Test out your skating legs and enjoy skating for pleasure or fitness on Scandia's big rink. Instructors Dana Wojtowicz and Matt Rasmussen will provide instruction on learning to skate forward, backwards, stopping properly, gliding on one leg and swizzles. There will be a bus available for kids to take from Scandia Elementary to the Community Center. Helmets are recommended. Register by December 28th. Please note this class fills very quickly! Min/Max Enrollment 5/25 Location: Wojtowicz Skating Rink at Scandia Community Center Time: 3:45 pm — 5:00 pm Day: Tuesdays from January 3 — February 7 Cost: $25 Open Skating: 4t" _ 6t" Grade Have fun, enjoy the fresh air and get some exercise! Open skating provides an opportunity for you to enjoy the skating rink in Scandia. There will be a bus available for kids to take from Scandia Elementary to the Community Center. Register by December 2gtn Min/Max Enrollment 5/20 Location: Wojtowicz Skating Rink at Scandia Community Center Time: 3:45 pm — 5:00 pm Day: Thursdays from January 5 — February 9 Cost: $25 Bus service to the rink is available for all students. If you wish to utilize this senrice you will need to have a signed bus change form to ride bus #64 on file in the Scandia Elementary office. Please request one from the office by calling 982-3300. Only students with a signed form on file will be transported on a Forest Lake School Bus to the rink.
