Memo
SCNDIA
To: Park and Recreation Committee
From: Anne Hurlburt,City Administrator
Date: May 23,2011
Re: Capital Improvement Program(CIP)Update
The Capital Improvements Committee will be meeting on June 1, 9 and 15 (and possibly additional
dates)to review the CIP update for 2012-2016. Mike White is the Park and Recreation Committee's
representative to that group. Their recommendations will be used by the City Council as they discuss
the 2012 budget, and later this fall as the Planning Commission holds the public hearing on the CIP
and the Council adopts it at the same time as the budget far the upcoming year.
Every year, the Park and Recreation Committee reviews the CIP to make recommendations on how
existing projects might be changed and/or new projects added. I recommend that you begin this
discussion your June 6 meeting, and possibly continue it at your July meeting.
Attached to aid your discussions are the following items showing Ice Rink and Parks and Recreation
projects in the current CIl':
a) Project Listing, Ice Rink and Parks and Recreation(Active Projects, from All Years)
b) Projects by Deparirnent, Ice Rink and Parks and Recreation(2012-2021)
