Re: Park Dedication for Heinisch Minor Subdivision
At their November 1,2011 meeting,the Plaruung Commission held a public hearing the application of
Roger and Joyce Heinisch for a minor subdivision and variances to create a 10-acre lot,and variances
from the m�imum number and square footage of accessory structures,for property located at 23620
Olinda Trail N.
The Planning Commission recommended approval with a condition that the Park and Recreation
Committee review the application and recommend whether or not the park dedication fee of$3,000
should be waived. The owner has proposed to allow public use of 290 acres of land which will be
permanently protected with a conservation easement.
The City Council is scheduled to receive the Planning Commission's recommendation at their
November 15,2011 meeting. The Park and Recreation Committee should discuss the park dedication
far this application at its November 7 meeting so that your recommendations may also be considered
at that time.
