09.e1 Memo BSWR Grant ProgramLower St. Croix Watershed: BWSR FY22-23 Metro Watershed-Based Implementation Funding Convene Process The City has the option to potentially have a representative on the grant selection committee for the Minnesota Board of Soil and Water's Watershed Based Implementation Funding (WBIF). Only two city representatives can be selected by the County, but only Woodbury has put forth a representative. This program is heavily used by Watershed Districts to implement water quality incentives that have been included in their management plans. Making this appointment is not mandatory. If an appointment is offered by the City Council, it would be helpful to have a representative who is familiar with water quality issues or has experience serving a local watershed.
