RE: Request for Proposals RFPs for On-Call Planning Services
From time-to-time, the City of Scandia issues RFPs for regular professional service areas to
utilize the competitive process to obtain the highest quality service for the most reasonable
costs. To this end, the City Council is recommended to consider the issuance of an RFP for
City Planning Services.
Should the Council agree to proceeding with an RFP process, a draft notice has been
included in your packets. Members should evaluate the draft notice’s explanation of the
scope of services( Sec. II.), the review criteria (Sec. VII. B.), and the schedule for the
selection process (Sec. V.) to assure that these explanations appropriately reflect your
interests and goals.
