Community Center Playground:
The final Outdoor Recreation Grant was approved and signed by both the City and the DNR.
Ordering the playground structure is complete with only a marginal cost increase from the
original quote. Contractors for the installation of the ADA sidewalk, pads, and playground curb
have also been contacted to resubmit pricing. Public Works is still planning to break ground this
year following the Taco Daze event if contractors can install before the end of the construction
season. Estimated final completion of the project is mid-summer of 2023.
Lilleskogen Park:
Public Works has completed the six donation bench pads in the park with the first donation
bench completed in the location of the old wood bench near the bridge.
Landscape Beds:
Public Works summer seasonal has started landscape bed maintenance. Multiple beds have
been completed. The beds at the corners of Olinda and 97 should be started by the time of this
meeting.
